200th Post Giveaway and My Jane L4 and L7

My Jane L4 and L7
Encouraging words of the day:
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. ~ Philippians 4:13, NLT

We were in New Mexico over the weekend.  It’s just as hot (almost) there in the mountains as it is in El Paso.  We’re supposed to be in the 100s all week, sweat, sweat.  Since we were gone, I didn’t do much sewing.  I did work on crochet for a prayer shawl on the drive.  Now it’s back to my Civil War Legacy quilt, hexie flower for Wednesday, and back to “My Jane.”  Here are a couple of “My Jane” blocks that I’ve completed.  L-4 looks better in real life than it does in the photo and is a keeper even though the photo does it no justice.

L-7 just looks so plain but it was easy and I’m keeping this too.

"Sew, Bitter Sweet Designs" has a Layer Cake of Quilt Blocks to send home with one of their readers. - ends June 7th.

And don’t forget about my 200th Post Giveaway! I think I’m going to make it since this is post # 199.  Yes!  My sponsor for this giveaway is "Connecting Threads."

They have donated the entire beautiful "Sweetgrass Prairie Collection”  which will be divided among 3 winners. Check it out at this link.  It ends  on June 6th at midnight MDT.

That is all.

You can send some of that heat here. We just had the ocean fog - cold and dark - all day today. ;(

It's going to be fun seeing all those blocks together. You must have a lot by now. Your biggest giveaway is the part of yourself you send out with every post. Keep it up!
