One Flower Wednesday on Day 31 of Blogtoberfest

Encouraging Words of the Day:

It's "One Flower Wednesday" and I didn't forget it this week. Here are three of the flowers I sewed on the trip to Tucson. I managed to hang on to all the pieces this time. One of them looks like a make-do flower but is not. That big blue flower amongst all the little ones in the red hexie flower was part of the fabric I used for that flower.

Last call for giveaway. Just click on this link:

"Blogtoberfest Charms Giveaway." This is the last day to enter for a chance to win 42 charms cut from my stash.

Blogtoberfest is done with this post. Yay! Today we also leave Arizona to return to El Paso but look what we saw outside our hotel this morning. That's a javelina. It looks like a hog but is actually a member of the equine family. They are quite tame around Tucson and we've seen them often.

That is all.

  1. WooHoo!! You did it! You posted everyday in October! That is quite an undertaking and you did it. Wow I did not know that javelina's were NOT pigs either.....and especially that they were in the horse family? Interesting. Glad you are coming home. Well....for a night anyway....

  2. You did it Irene! A post everyday! It's a huge effort, isn't it? And you did while traveling and babysitting and making - and no arrests from the blogtober police. Never heard of a javalina! Interesting pig-horse!

  5. Good for you for making it through 31 days! I am trying to keep on track with my photo days but it is hard. I've never heard of a javalina before... and a member of the equine family!? Great flowers.
