Hi All!
I’ve been sewing a little - or rather, preparing to sew. I’m linking my project today with Kelly’s “Needle and Thread Thursday.” I still haven’t figured out how to make the link work by clicking on the picture so please just click on the link I copied below to see what others are doing on Thursday.
Here’s a photo of the t-shirts I’ve cut up. I’ve made all 17 inch x 17 just to make sure I have enough. I’ll cut them down to the size needed after I iron them to the interfacing. These are 20 cut-up t-shirts.
And, of course, I saved many scraps in case they’re needed and saved some for dusting and cleaning rags and still, I have this trash can full of scraps.
So, I’m ready to get started on that but I needed a break from t-shirts so made this pincushion for my swap partner in a pincushion swap. My partner likes crazy quilting so...

That is all.

You have got heaps of T shirts there so plenty of choice. It's a good way to have a clean up as well as get a new quilt.
Lovely your pretty little pincushion....

Hmmm. I'm sure we could come up with another t-shirt project with those scraps....a rug????
Love your pretty pincushion.
Beautiful pincushion!
wHAT? I didn't know you were making another T=shirt quilt! well at least I stumbled upon a recent post from you....after today I should have lots of time to start blogging again or at least read some blogs again.............
I have never tried a T-shirt quilt, though I have enough Scouting shirts to wear a different one every day for at least a year!
Who's T-shirts are you using for this one? That's a lot of work!!
