I'm back!

Encouraging Words of the Day –
Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. ~ John 10:9, NLT

I’m back after spending a week with our friends.  We all meet once a year at a place in one of the couple’s home state.  This year, Texas was the site and we chose to meet in Rocksprings rather than El Paso.  We usually rent a beach house or condo some place but this year we were all in a hunting lodge since Rockspings is known for its hunting.
This was an opportunity for getting out of one’s comfort zone.  All of the couples assured us that they enjoyed their unusual visit (unusual for them) shooting at targets out at our ranch, sitting in hunting blinds, taking long hikes at the ranch, etc.  They also had ample opportunity to explore the town of Rocksprings, population 1106 (1108 when my husband and I are here) with it’s 3 restaurants, one grocery store, 2 gas stations, 1 dollar store, and you get the idea.  We had a wonderful time sitting in the lodge in the evenings having drinks and eating way too much, playing cards or dominoes, and just enjoying each others’ company.
I did miss my sewing machine and am ready to get back to whatever it is I was sewing before.  I need to figure out where I was. Here are some of the things I’ve pulled out today…
Now where was I with my sewing?  Oh, I have worked on the name for my "Name Game"  person over at Samelia’s Mum’s blog.  Here’s what I’ve done with the name hidden just in case my person is lurking nearby.

I guess I didn’t win any giveaways while I was away since I haven’t heard anything.  I’ve got a few giveaways for you (oops, just one again)…
Katie's Quilting Corner is having a giveaway.  You could win a Hoffman Fabrics Bali Pops – Key Lime.  This giveaway ends Friday, February 17, at midnight EST.
That is all.
