Hilachas is the Spanish word for those little loose threads that fall all over the floor and sewing area as you finish sewing and snip the tail end of the thread off the sewn area. So does this blog entail the odds and ends of topics of interest, leaving more loose threads to ponder...

Well, I have a star-shaped balloon with a picture of Anpanman on it that my granddaughter left. A week has gone by and it is still floating above the coffee table so at least it isn't taking up much space and sends greetings to the Koala.
I think he'll feel welcomed at the picnic! What a cutie!
What a lovely koala. We have some live ones at our property at Childers - the first night we realised they were there, I kept thinking I could hear a baby crying - but it was the koalas calling to each other. We often go looking for them - but they are hard to fin in the trees.
