Giveaways Everywhere - except here...Also "My Jane" J-13
Encouraging words of the day -
In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. – Luke 1:26-27 NIV
We had a lovely weekend with my family in New Mexico. Each year, if we won’t be able to spend Christmas with them, we get together a week or two before and celebrate Christmas together. We had a wonderful time, remembering the reason for the season, eating, drinking holiday cheer, exchanging gifts and enjoying each other’s company. By the way, Mama loved her quilt.
I go my house block for Beth over at "Love, Laugh, Quilt" done.
This was a lot of fun getting creative with my little schoolhouse. This sounds like a wonderful way to make a house block quilt, that is if you win the drawing. It’s like a lotto, if you send one house block in before January 1, you will be put into a drawing to receive 9-12 house blocks. I encouraged my sister to enter also and she made a beautiful block that looks like my little house at our ranch. Check it out here if you get a chance:
Oh. Here’s a “My Jane” block. This was fun to make, paper-pieced and applilque.. So saying, here is J-13.
So what else have I done? I spent a while in Blogland visiting "Blog Hop Party" participants. That took most of the evening yesterday and I just got started. What fun. Then I’m noticing there is also a "Giveaway Day" hosted by "Sew Mama Sew." So, that’s one of the reasons I’m not posting any giveaways. Just go to either of these two links and you’ll find hundreds. Have fun. I know I am. Another day when I probably won’t be sewing because I’ll be surfing through blogs.
That is all.
