Mama’s Christmas Quilt and Giveaway Winner

Encouraging words of the day –
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

Ok.  What I’ve actually been doing is finishing up Mama’s quilt for Christmas.  I finally got it done but then I thought it looked too plain so I added pillow shams.  That seemed easy enough, but do you ever start something that ends up taking you much more time than you thought it would?  That was the pillow shams…  Anyway, here it is.  Ta da.

The Random Generator has chosen a winner for my "After Thanksgiving Giveaway."

Congratulations!  Laurie of West Texas Threads is the winner.  You have won the layer-cake of your choice from "Fat Quarter Shop." I will contact you via email, Laurie..  Thanks to all who entered the giveaway and thanks to "Fat Quarter Shop"for sponsoring the giveaway.
That is all.

Irene that quilt is just beautiful! My little girl just saw it and said "I want Santa to bring me that bed for Christmas"!The pillow shams are a perfect "finishing touch" but I can see that they were lots of work. The whole thing is such an achievement! Just lovely!
