Encouraging words of the day –
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You for the dreams and desires You’ve placed within me. Even when I can’t see it, I trust that You are working behind the scenes. I choose to tune out the negative voices and press into You. Keep me close and guide my every step in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I don’t know what I’ve been doing. I know that I’ve been really busy. Oh. I’ve made a block for “My Jane” It hasn’t been easy working on these lately. I think that with the holidays upon us, there are too many things pulling me in other directions. This was a paper-pieced background with appliqué for the center piece. Not too hard.

I’ve gotten behind on my BOM houses. I’m behind 3 blocks and I want to get those done. I need to make a cottage, a castle, and now this month’s block is a Gingerbread house. Oh. I finished the candle mat for my partner so that was accomplished.
But, still thinking of houses, Beth over at "Love, Laugh, Quilt" is collecting 12" x 12" house blocks. It’s like a lotto, if you send one in before January 1, you will be put into a drawing to receive 9-12 house blocks. It sounds really interesting, seeing as I’m so good at keeping up with sewing house blocks, I’ve entered.
Don’t forget about my "After Thanksgiving Giveaway" which ends December 5th, today. Winner will be announced on Tuesday.
And, speaking of giveaways, here’s one that I’ve found:
"Happy Quilting" is giving away an entire Fat Quarter Bundle of Deb Strain's Coming Home. – ends December 7th.
That is all.
