Birthday Giveaway and My Wonderful Birthday Gifts

I received a wonderful birthday present from my husband. It was actually my sister, Ida from "My sister made me do it..." blog who made ME do something. After she bought her wonderful Brother PE500 embroidery machine and showed me all the beautiful things it can make by embroidering these seasonal hanging towels for me so I have one to display for each holiday or season that comes along,

 

well, I just had to have my own PE500. Of course I told my husband that he didn't have to worry about getting my birthday present this year because I had done the shopping for him :) Here it is:

Love it, love it although I've just made a couple of things with it since it just arrived on Wednesday. What a wait! I'm one that definitely thrives on instant gratification so the 5-day wait was torture.

On my birthday and, to continue the celebration, I always like to have a giveaway for my followers. Everyone loves fabric so that's the route I'll take. How about 5 fat quarters? Yep, here they are and all you have to do is be a follower so let me know in a comment below and "good luck!"
