Encouraging Words of the Day:
For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory.
~ Psalm 84:11, NLT
Hello, Rocksprings! Yes, we've arrived in the Texas Hill Country. The Hill Country has received rain and is looking beautiful in Rocksprings, Texas. Here's a photo of what I saw looking out my door this morning.
Thanks, Karen for keeping me on task sewing hexie flowers with the link your provide us each week at "One-Flower Wednesday!" You can click on “One Flower Wednesday” to see flowers others have made too.
Also completed is a mini quilt top I made called "Mini Baskets." Something went wrong in my color selection. You're supposed to be able to see 4 baskets among all those squares and triangles but they "some how" got lost. Anyway, it will make a nice something. For now, it's fun to figure out how in the world there are supposed to be baskets in there :)
I'm off to enjoy this beautiful day before it gets to hot so, for now...
that is all.

Pretty flowers! Are the basket Easter baskets? LOL!
Hmmm... hidden baskets ... sounds like a new I-spy game. I can't believe you are on the road again. Too bad there is an ocean between us because with all that driving, you could be here several times over.
Beautiful flower and fussy cutting. The mini quilt is still cute.
Green is wonderful! Love the flowers and I see the baskets.

Glad to have you back in the Hill Country. The recent showers have helped us here too.
