"My Jane" Block H-12

Encouraging words of the day:
This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
~ Psalm 118:24, NLT

Today is One Flower Wednesday again.  I haven’t blogged for a week.    We’re at our little ranch in the Texas Hill Country and somehow, the time just gets away from me.  My sister visited over the weekend and uh, I don’t know what I’ve been doing, just enjoying nature and having company.  Here I am with my sister.

I have done a little sewing.  Here are a couple of hexie flowers:

On Monday, I did manage to post my Penny Haren Applique blocks.  Good thing it’s catch-up week there so all I had to post was the photo of the last 5 blocks I made.  We have 5 blocks to go to finish.

I have a “My Jane” block to post since I was able to sew a little during our drive to the ranch.  This block was easy, just appliqué.

Giveaways I've run into:
"We Love Quilting" is giving away a July surprise box.
"I Have To Say" is giving away a fat quarter bundle. - ends July 13th.
Lily Pad Quilting is having a sponsored giveaway of a  fat quarter bundle from Intrepid Tread.  - ends Wednesday, July 13th.
Alderwood Quilts is having a giveaway.  You could win a fresh bundle of lavender.  – ends Aug 1st.
Threadgatherer is having a giveaway.  Here is one more chance for you to win a GO! Baby Cutter and 3 dies.  Deb will select a winner on Thursday, July 14.
"Happy Quilting" is giving away an Entire Fat Quarter Bundle of Kate Spain's Flurry as in 28 Fat Quarters and a Panel. – ends July 19th.

"Quilty Habit" is having a giveaway of 3 fat quarters. – ends July 19th.

That is all.

It's nice to know that you have just been enjoying yourself!

Love those hexies and your blocks are wonderful too. The little hearts are so cute.

Don't ever forget - it's just as important to stop and smell the flowers as to make more flowers! Enjoy your time away.
