After Thanksgiving Giveaway

Encouraging words of the day –
And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.  -  Colossians 3:17, NLT

Doing “all in the name of the Lord Jesus” means bringing honor to Christ in every aspect and activity of daily living.  As a Christian, you represent Christ at all times—wherever you go and whatever you say.  What impression do people have of Christ when they see or talk with you?  What changes would you make in your life in order to honor Christ?

I have received a Candle Mat from my partner in the "Christmas Candle Mat 2011."  Well, not only did I receive the Candle Mat, but a whole bunch of other goodies from Laura.  Just look at this:
There are ornaments:  2 cute candy canes,  a funny little snowman, and another snowman painted and signed by Laura herself,  5 little hand-sewn snowballs and one larger snowball.
There are two candles, one with a hand-sewn cover that wraps around it and another little snowball-looking one.
And then there is the gorgeous candlemat, also hand-sewn with colorful mittens all around it.  Oh, and a pendant/pin made of glass pieces, rather funky but so cute.  I’m wearing it today .
Thank you, Laura.  I am going to enjoy it all so much.

After Thanksgiving Giveaway

"Fat Quarter Shop" has generously offered to sponsor a giveaway on my blog.  If you haven’t already visited "Fat Quarter Shop," then you’re in for a real treat.  I love to go there just to browse even, but the selection is wonderful and the prices are terrific.  So, you ask, what can I win?  Up for grabs is a “layer cake” of your choice.  And, wow, do you have a lot of choices.  A couple that I love are:
Boy Meadow Friends Layer Cake
Deb Strain for Moda Fabrics

But that's what I like.  You get to choose the one YOU like.  Ok, ok, you want to know what you need to do to win.  You have 3 opportunities to enter the giveaway:
1.  Go to "Fat Quarter Shop"  and check out their layer cakes, then come back and let me know which layer cake you would choose if you were to win the giveaway.

2.  Become a follower of my blog.

3.  Blog about this giveaway, then come back and leave the link to your post.

Make each response separately to assure you get entered 3 times.
If you are a No-Reply blogger, please include your email address so I can contact you if you win.
Giveaway ends December 5th,  MST.  The winner will be announced by Tuesday, December 6th.

And, speaking of giveaways, here are some I’ve found:
"Pings & Needles" is giving away an Accuquilt Go Baby Cutter. – ends December 1st.
"Our Busy Little Bunch" is having a sponsored giveaway of gorgeous bundle of Pear Tree fabric. – ends December 2nd.
"Gen X Quilters" is giving away Electric Quilt 7 software. – ends December 3rd.

That is all.

I took a look at the layer cakes - so many to pick from - it's always hard to choose a favorite. I do like American Banner Rose - it's a traditional collection - I always tend to go that way in my fabric taste. Thanks for the chance to win!
