Cherry Picking

Encouraging words of the day:
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries.  Today’s trouble is enough for today.” – Matthew 6:34, NLT
Planning for tomorrow is time well spent; worrying about tomorrow is time wasted. Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference. Careful planning is thinking ahead about goals, steps, and schedules, and trusting in God's guidance. When done well, planning can help alleviate worry. Worriers, by contrast, are consumed by fear and find it difficult to trust God. They let their plans interfere with their relationship with God.  Don't let worries about tomorrow affect your relationship with God today.

My husband and I are still in California with our grandson.  Yesterday we spent part of the day cherry-picking.  The trees were loaded with cherries.  What a beautiful day it was and what beautiful cherries we picked…and ate.

It’s  "One-Flower Wednesday" and here are my flowers.  Don’t they remind you of spring?

Continuing to work on “Dear Jane” blocks in the evenings.  Here are three more:

A few giveaways I've run into, well one giveaway:
"1 Choice 4 Quilting" is having a fantastic giveaway consisting of:  a new Moda tote bag,  grid rulers, a “Let’s Twist” book and the Twister tool, 6 one-yard cuts of Bella Solids, and a Dogwood Trails Layer Cakel – ends June 13th.

That is all.

Very nice hexies, cute fabric. I just bought a cherry tree and have to plant it, hope it does as well as the one in your picture. Your Dear Jane blocks are lovely, reminds me I have to get back to mine.

Wow that cherry tree looks very different than the one in my neighbors yard here in the midwest. Hhhmm - never thought about it!

Cute hexies - I've been bitten by the hexie bug. Those DJ blocks are fab!

In his heart a man plans his course but the Lord determines his steps. - Proverbs 16:9

This is one of my favorite verses.

FYI... your giveaway link doesn't work.
