1-Flower Wednesday, Jane F1 and FW 9

Encouraging words of the day:
Continuing with my favorite Psalm 91
11 For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands
so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
 13 You will trample upon lions and cobras;
you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!. – Psalm 91 NLT

It’s One Flower Wednesday!   I love this day and sewing up hexie flowers.

This is Post #92 for me.  I started blogging on October 4th, a year ago so I have a Blogiversary coming up.  That means my 100th post and my Blogiversary will be at about the same time so I’m working on a giveaway for my blog followers soon.

The saga of  “My Jane” continues.  I love it but not  “My Farmer’s Daughter“  and I don’t know why.   I know, I know I keep saying that.  I hate to quit something once I start so I may be one of those that has “The Farmer’s Wife” as a life-long project.  Here’s “My Jane”  F-1.
Here’s the Farmer’s Wife block I sewed upside down and backwards and then unsewed and resewed it wrong again,  took apart again and finally got this:

FW 9 - Box

Giveaways I’ve found:
"Love Affair With My Brother" is giving away a jelly roll. – ends August 29th.

Never Enough Stash” is having a giveaway of a chart, several skeins of floss,  and “some other really cool stuff."  - ends August 23rd.

Man, I’m boring today.
That is all.

Very pretty flowers!
I think your blocks, both Jane and Farmer's are turning out quite nicely. I've not yet started the Farmer's Wife blocks, but just recently did order the templates from Marti Michell's website. Have you checked into those?

Wonderful flowers again this week! I especially like the one on the left as it reminds me of some of my Uncle's polished agates.
The MJ block is very pretty with the tiny little dot fabric.
Maybe you should stop the FW blocks for awhile - you seem to be fighting them since you had to take the block apart twice. Just a though.
